need HM help...

ok, i'm sure everyone is sick of hearing about this, but i need to change my Mexican HM.

we really want adults-only and all-inclusive.

i've heard about people being hassled on the beaches at the bigger chain resorts like Sandals and Couples. i was thinking about something quieter.

PLEASE, i need suggestions!

i'm still really upset, and trying to research everything is overwhleming...

I went to one of the chains, Secrets, this past summer and looooved it! check them out. We went to mexico but i believe they are also in other countries.

What about Punta Cana? I went there in February and stayed at the Majestic Elegance. I wouldn't recommend the Majestic Elegance however but I read that the Majestic Colonial and Iberostar Bavaro are really nice. They are rated as the twop 2 hotels in Punta Cana on tripadvisor. Go to tripadvisor.com and look at the hotel reviews.

The Bahamas is also nice. I stayed at the Atlantis which isn't all inclusive but it's really nice. There are all inclusives in the Bahamas though.

Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic has lots of all inclusives as well and it's cheaper than Punta Cana.

And as for Adults only, there are a few of them in Punta Cana that I remember from my research...

Gran Bahia Principe Ambar
Excellence Punta Cana
Catalonia Royal Bavaro

They are all ranked high by tripadvisor.com.

Also if you're willing to do something non-all inclusive, Aruba is nice. We stayed at the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. It's not all inclusive but you don't have to rent a car to get around the island and food is moderately priced. And there weren't many kids when we went.

Look at deals on Cheapcaribbean.com, Expedia.com and BeachDestinations.com.

someone said they re-booked to Hawai, and another to Jamiaca.

My friends went to Jamica and had a great time.

We went to Sandals Regency St. Lucia and LOVED it!!

There is a couples only resort in Dominican Republic.. it is Secrets or Excellence not totally sure. It's in Punta Cana and its supposed to be fabulous. Punta Cana is great.. gorgeous beaches and the prices are great!
