Need Honest Opinions

Nickand I are having a very hard time coming up with a name for this little guy. I like what he considers to be 'soap opera names', whereas, he is leaning towards the more traditional, common names.

The only thing we have been throwing around is to name him after him Grandpas. Nick is a junior and Justin's middle name is Nicholas, so we have him covered. My dad's name is Terence and Nick's step-dad is John. So...

we were thinking of Terence John (or TJ for short). We didn't likethe way John Terence sounded.

obviously this is not a common name nowadays. My question is do you tihnk it is too out there? Afterall, I do not want him to get made fun of growing up. Or does it sound too Irish, considering we have a very Italian last name? I am so confused

I personally like Terrance, and think TJ is a VERY cute nick name.

It's not too unusual AT ALL.

I don't see anything wrong with that name.
If thats what you and DH like, then go for it.

I think Terence is a really cool name. Different without being strange. TJ of course is adorable, you cant go wrong calling your little boy TJ.

And I like the John as a middle name, that's Lukie's middle name too.

I think you're making a really nice choice.

I agree with the rest of the ladies I like Terence, as well as TJ for short.

But you're talking to a mother who named her kid Genesio, so I kinda like those out there names.
