So FH and i have been thinking about going to Anguilla for our honeymoon, but today someone recommended the diff Sandals resorts in St. Luccia.....We have researched them and they seem to be too good to be true!!
Have any of you been to any Sandals Resorts, or either of the ones in St. Lucia?! Do you have any advice for us? are they really as good as they sound? We wanna book within the next week!!!!!
TIA!

NYPD academy? My brother is waiting to hear about that, too. He was supposed to be in the January 2009 class. . .

well we were going to do sandals but our travel agent turned us off to it ... when he gave us the prices they were really high! and for an average room ... then he told us about mexico ... we are getting an amazing room (with a roof top terrace and a private pool) iat the excellence playa mujeres for less than we would have paid for a regular room at sandals. thats the only reason why we didnt do it.

alot of girls on here are going to St Lucia and other sandals resorts.. I think they are good b/c they are all inclusive & adults only. I heard really good things about the Grande and the Regency.

I've heard people absolutely RAVE about Sandals. I think they're worth the money if you like the beach and like to drink. There are a few other all inclusives too that you could look into but I hear very good things about Sandals.

One of our friends went to St. Lucia for the HM and said it was amazing. FH's aunt said the same thing about a weekend trip she took there last year. We're going to Antigua in a little over a week and we've heard nothing but good things.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Sandals Resorts in St. Lucia. I have several friends who went there and LOVED it. If we weren't going on our honeymoon during hurricane season we would be going there.

I have heard many mixed reviews about Sandals in St. Lucia. Fh and I decided not to stay there when we went this past summer. We stayed at Le Sport Body Holiday which was awesome and included a spa treatment in the all inclusive package each day.

Aww - ditto on the hurricane season issue... we're thinking of the Occidental Hotel in Aruba. What about you?

Same here on hurricane season-- but we're taking a chance anyway since it's towards the end... we booked Sandals Negril-- the Romeo and Juliet suite (has a private outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and grotto shower). With that room, we get the concierge service and a private butler!!
It really wasn't as expensive as you'd think... so if you're not going w/ sandals b/c of price, check their website first... the sale going on right now is amazing!!
We booked our hm about 2 months ago at $6800 (not incl air) and I checked the website on Wednesday (just out of curiosity after seeing a commercial) and the price went down to $6200!!! I called them that night and they adjusted the price with no arguing.
I have heard nothing but amazing things about sandals so I am so happy i got a great price for the room we're staying in!!
I'm doing the 'Test Drive Your Honeymoon' promotion on January 28th... it's a surprise b-day present for FH, and we will fly down to Jamaica for the day to see and use the resort-- so I'll let you all know what it's like!!!
