I want romance and luxury, definitely a beach and a spa would be nice.
He wants adventure: ie: snorking, scuba diving, sailing, whitewater rafting.
We don't want to fly super far. So far I am thinking Costa Rica, anyone been there and have any feed back? Any other suggestions? Thanks girls!

i recommend us/british virgin islands, it's only 4 hours away and beautiful beaches and lots of water sports!

Hi Date Buddy!!! I still haven't picked my HM yet, I am concerned about hurricanes in the caribbean, we are thinking possible Aruba. My aunt just came back from Costa Rica, and while she said it was really beautiful, she also said it was rugged and not the best place for a honeymoon.

check out the couples resorts in jamaica. A few friends went there and loved it b/c its a great mix of relaxing at the beach and also has tons of activities. Best part is that most activities (snorkeling and scuba diving i know are two of them) are included as part of the all-inclusive. There are a few tours/activities you can add on like ziplining through the forest, horseback riding on the beach, etc.HTH

St Lucia and Antigua! We went to St Lucia for our Hm and it was so nice and romantic! And Antigua is supposed to be named as the most romantic island in Sandals!

FH and I LOVED Turks and Caicos!! We stayed at Club Med...all inclusive and things like snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking were included! FM if you want more info!!

I agree, you can get all of that in Costa Rica. We went there for our HM and it was FABULOUS!! It was the perfect combination of everything. We traveled to different parts of the country and did different things in the different areas. I definitely recommend going there!

If your FH is an avid scuba diver he might be disappointed in the marine life in Jamaica. The reef system there is in poor condition compared to other parts of the Caribbean.
We are thinking about Cozumel... or Cabo, or Greece, or Hawaii. We need help too! Good luck!!

I just booked my honeymoon in Aruba. Its a new place and it's all inclusive. Check it out. I got it cheaper from a travel agent than what this site quoted me for.
try Aruba if you want to avoild hurricanes and Riviera Maya in Mexico is supposed to have some of the most romantic places according to TripAdvisor lists.
