I know your pain. Losing a pregnancy is the worst feeling in the world. It brings me peace knowing that G-d wanted my baby more than I did.

to all of you who are experiencing this pain. The worst part about TTC is that if and when you do there is the chance that something bad might happen

Re: Need hugs...

Thanks ladies for the support. I was having a weak moment, but I'm better now. This weekend is just hard overall because of Mother's Day.

We all have gotten through our trying times, and are better for it. Thanks for the love & support.

I hate that I agree with you on this... I'm always skeptical now when I hear of a pg announcement, truly HOPING that no one has to go through what we've been through.

Re: Need hugs...

I understand. I have had a stillborn and a M/C and I still miss them years later, even though I never 'knew' them.

Ok..this is corny, but if you believe in this stuff, then it might help..it helped me a LOT at one time.

I went to a Medium once..a psychic who can communicate with the other side. (for those who dont know) . He was world renowned and When I met with him, I sat down and all I gave him was my name. He said right off the bat , he saw a little girl ( my daughter??) and another 'spirit' floating around her, he couldnt determine the sex, he asked if my MOM had lost 2 babies ( I was young, and looked YOUNGER)..I said no, and then he said I guess then they are yours.

He said one was a MC and that must be why I cant determine the sex clearly. He went on to say how he saw that my greatest fear in life was I would never be a 'Mother' and that it was the opposite, that I would and indeed it was 'my role in life' so to speak.

He went on to say the MC's and loss of my daughter were to show me this, that God will only pick the strongest women for this to happen to.

HE SAID that there are some souls that dont need to live 40, 60, 100 years on earth , there need is to experience UNCONDITIONAL love...and thats it. These souls pick a Mother and that woman gives these babies complete unconditional love...the act of thinking of names, wanting our babies to grow up to be healthy happy successful adults...all the wishes and LOVE we feel for someone we never have seen gives that soul what it needs and it is able to move on.

HE said he hopes that women with m/c , early baby deaths etc understand that they play an extremely important role in the universe by allowing this baby they will never see to have the love some need years for..

It may be a bunch of bologna and just talking, but it eased me mind a LOT and as silly as it will seem to some..I still share that story because for some it helps.

I believe it..I hope you do.

Your strong, hold your head high..god will bless you!

I know it's so hard, and that it will never really go away... but these are the things we learn from and take from to be better people, and eventually, better mommies down the road...

Re: Need hugs...

Wow, Donna... that really does help a lot. I believe that God has his reasons, and knew that we were strong enough to handle this type of grief. I know our boy is a better place right now, and I have to learn that there was something beyond me that needed our little boy more than we did.

I know that I will eventually be blessed with other kids, but will never ever forget our 1st born.

Thanks Donna & all you ladies for your words of hope.
