My dad hasn't been doing well over the past year. His becoming more delusional where he thinks that someone is always following him. My mother has now taken the necessary steps in order to get him the help that he needs.
So, because of this he will be unable to walk me down the aisle.
Would it be ok for me to walk down by myself? I really don't want to but at this point I really have no one else.

it's fine if you walk by yourself. but if you don't want to, you could use a brother or uncle or other family member (even your mom!) ...

im so sorry to hear about your dad......
do you have a brother, grandfather, cousin or anyone who can walk you down if you don't feel comfortable having your mom do it?? you can totally walk down yourself also, don't feel weird about it!

I think it's perfectly fine to walk down by yourself. You can also walk with your mom, a close uncle, a grandfather, etc.

My father passed away, Iand was originally going to walk down by myself and have my DH meet me 1/2 way. Ultimately, I decided to have my brother walk me down. Of course, you can walk down by yourself! I pray for your dad!

If you are ok walking yourself down then I say go for it. If not what about a male relative that you are close with or your mom or a friend???

Sorry about your dad......I liked what someone said the other day- they are going to walk 1/2 way down the aisle and then FH is going to meet her 1/2 way also. you can consider that

It's deinfitly find to go by yourself or have another family member accompany you...
I'm not sure what is going on with your dad, but delusions are often managed with medication - is it really set in stone that he won't be able to do this? You have a few months.

i think this is a great idea as well. but i also think you can walk down by yourself. you can do whatever you want to do or feel most comfortable doing.
