NEED IDEAS

Anyone have any cool ideas for the cocktail hour/reception. I have heard of the cigar rollers and photo booths. . .any other ideas or thoughts? TIA

I am just having my DJ play music...everyone will be to occupied talking and catching up on things that they wouldnt pay attention to anything else

I have a calypso band..
Cigar roller is during our desert hr...that's a suprise for FH!!! He don't know about it yet!!!

Thanks for your ideas. I wanted to surprise Fh too and heard of the cigar rollers, the photobooth and a casino party but the casino thing would be a little much for a wedding I think. Any other ides??

a friend of mine had an elvis impersonator singing at the ch and then after they announced everyone in the reception....they danced there first dance to elvis singing cant help falling in love!!! i thought that was such a good idea!!!

I'm going to have an acoustic vocalist and guitarist sing at my CH. She's alot more pricey than just having the DJ play (which I actually have a certificate for that I won at a Bridal Show) but I really wanted to incorporate live music somehow.

I'm also considering getting a cigar roller for the END of the night.

we are having a string quartet

i have heard of steel drum bands, singers like frank sinatra impersonators, piano players, etc.

We're having a jazz trio at the CH. I am trying to think of ideas for the ceremony too.

My friend had bag pipers she suprised her DH with at the reception (he's a cop). That was a big hit, everyone loved it.
