We have been staying with my parents and our honeymoon isn't till the summer, so we are looking to go away for a few days right after the wedding (wedding is on saturday, we want to leave sunday and stay till weds). Since we are getting married in the winter we thought a ski trip might be fun, does anyone have an recommendations for a fun romantic getaway?

I've never been, but we almost went to Cove Haven in the Pocons. And I hear nothing but great things about it.

We are going to the cove haven resorts in the poconos. We have been before and the winter is great. Snowmobiling, skiing and ice skating available. I would stay at the largest of the three resorts and thats Cove Haven.

Jet Blue usually has really cheap flights to Boston or Maine. That might be something different. Usually the flights are under $50. Otherwise, even Southwest to Florida out of Islip airport can be very reasonable.

I love the Cove Pocono resorts! They are great for a short getaway, and throw out the Bride card, you get upgrades like crazy!! We got engaged there and went backfor our minimoon.

Hey twin!! We are going on a mini-moon too!!!We are thinking of Hershey Penn because Hotel Hershey (they even have a honeymoon package with chocolate couples massages) is supposed to be amazing at christmas time!! Mmmmm chocolate!!

my friends just did a minimoon in newport rhode island...its supposedly gorgeous..they stayed at a really nice spa i think it was the mariot?

Go to Vermont. You can rent an entire home for so cheap... with lots of amenities (fireplace, hot tub) it's one of the most romantic places i have ever been. check out www.homeaway.com I always go to Stratton.. HTH!
