Need ideas please

Our E-Party is April 23. We are going to have a DJ, but not sure what music he should play.

FH and I are big into R&B and Hip Hop, but know that's not appropriate to play all night.

I ahd contemplated having a mix of 'Z100' type, Frank Sinatra, and 'mello' music being played, but the party is 4 hrs, and is a buffet. I don't want people to just be sitting, but at the same time, I don't want it to be too 'wedding-y'

I think a good mix is the way to go. Once the party gets cooking, I don't see why some hip-hop couldn't be added in

i agree!

Most of the people at our E-Party and Wedding are for the most party under 35. We will be having hip-hop/dance/top 40. That is the type of music my FH and I like, and that is what most of the people attending will be dancing too.

Why play disco when everyone will remain in their seats????
