Need info on a table pad for our dining room table

DH and I want to invest in a table pad for our dining room table to use when we actually have company and will use the table. Its a wood table, and even with a table cloth, we are afraid a spill or hot pot could damage the wood. Has anyone purchased one recently and would you be willing to provide a recommendation and the price you paid?

Our table is long and narrow: 42' wide by 104' long.

Did you check with the manufacturer? We ordered ours rom them when we purchased the table and it fits perfectly. I know I've seen the color books for ordering at several stores when we were looking so I think most manufacturers offer them. I've also seen ads in the back of the 'home' magazines like Country Living.

We bought a fairly expensive dining room table last year and DH got some info from this company on there table pads, We have yet to order one cause we never use it.
But we'll get around to it.
They sent a brochure with some small samples.

Mine came with the pads but I know that I have seen ads in the back of some home magazines like southern living or Elle decor before. I bet you can get them online for less expensive. They are worth the money though. I can tell you that.

Thanks for all the info.... We ordered our dining set directly from the manufacturer (Canadel in Canada) using a broker in North Carolina. We have their entire book, but they do not do table pads.

I have seen ads, even in Newsday. I was just hoping someone had a good recommendation. I will be calling around for some prices.. I'm happy though we are not hosting Thanksgiving!!

they will come to some houses and measure for free. They will do my town.
If you go to th ewebsite, and search for measuring and type in your zip code, they will tell you if they come to you.

I saw a table pad company listing when I was looking for furniture on this site : http://www.furnitureorders.com/

It's Ohio Table Pad Company. I haven't used them or anything, but it might be worth checking out.....
