Re: Need info on DIY pocketfold invites
I am mid-process of this, too. If you really want pocketfolds it is definitely cheaper. cardsandpockets.com is good and paperpresentation.com has tons of unique ones in terms of sizes and styles. Check billandme (?) album for her DIY for making the pockets (even cheaper)
Good luck and HTH

Re: Need info on DIY pocketfold invites
i started mine...u need the pocketfolds (which u can get $1.00 each from www.cardsandpockets.com then you need cardstock...i bought black pocketfolds then i put blue cardstock then black cardstock over it, then invite (which i printed on my computer) over that for the layering effect...then its up to u if u want to put a bow to close it, or a rhinestone buckle or if u want any other embellishments
here are ideas of what i started but im gonna change it up a bit for my actual invites

Re: Need info on DIY pocketfold invites
This seems to be topic of discussion lately as a lot of us are in the same phase of planning! I just received my sample cardstock -one 20x28 sheet. I cut it into 4 7x20 pieces and made a few samples instead of ordering the pocketfold premade. It is cheaper to do it this way but....I think I may order the actual pockets as I am so anal and it is really hard to cut the 'v' for the pockets. I think I am ordering 220 precut 7x20 pieces from anchorpaper.com for .46 a piece then buying the pockets.

Re: Need info on DIY pocketfold invites
These are really beautiful. Sorry it took so long to come back to the post but DH took me out to dinner and lately these dates are far and few in between I appreciate all the help since this is really stressing me. My sister wants us to do it but I kinda feel like if it's not going to save me money I might as well have it done and save my time for one of my many other DIY projects I have planned. However you guys are making me think that it might be do able. So I hope you dont mind me FMing for help. Thanks Again
