Need Invitation Clarification

What do you order?
Invitation

Reception Folder
Lined Envelopes
Printed Envelopes

Am I missing anything?
(I know seals & directions cards)

What are informals?

Thank you!!!!

I think that is what I ordered. By response folder you mean response set right, with the envelope and printing on that as well. We had additional charges for special ink and monograms, but I ordered the pieces you mentioned.

Informals are small cards - like the reception card but larger that can be used as thank you cards, notecards, etc... It will match the border or pattern just like the reception or response card.

o so it really isn't necessary if you are having a photographer who is providing thank you's?

What exactly is a recepetion folder?

some people use informals, rather than a respose card. Way back when, people used to write a letter of response (yes or no) and send it back to the bride and groom. Now a days its hard enough to get people to check off the damn box and send it back, nevertheless write a note!!

I kinda like the 'blank' response card note. The card would read, 'The favour of a reply is requested before the first of May.' or 'Kindly reply before the first of May.'

A little different than the traditional:

M ________________________

___ will attend

____ will not attend

No matter what you choose, you should write a number on the lower left corner on the back of the card (in pencil) that correpsonds w/ the guest name on your list. Believe it or not some people send the cards back completely blank.
