I was planning on attempting DIY invites, but now I am second guessing it. Any advice either way??

Well I was trying to save $ since we are paying for the wedding ourselves But i'm not sure if it is really worth it. I've been looking on a bunch of sites and i'm not finding anything that really WOW's me. I like the pocket invites but I don't even know where to begin with that!!

I originally wanted to do it myself but what worried me the most was the wording, I didn't want to offend my parents by not putting names in the right places. we got invitations for under $500 and I absolutely LOVE them. so I am gonna vote with getting them done just because my experience was great

Yeah maybe I will just order them!! The girls at work today were like by the time you buy all the cardstock, envelopes, ink, etc. not to mention the time you put in, how much $ can you really save!?!? You might as well just order them!!

Maybe you'd feel better if you went to a vendor and saw the invitations in person instead of just on websites. With the actual invitation right in front of you, you'd either be like, 'Wow! I want these!' or 'Hmmm... nothing's really grabbing me here.' Either way, you'd have your answer about whether you should do them yourself or not.

honestly, some girls said it saves them and others say it doesn't. I think it depends on what type of invite you want and where you get it from...lots of research. also think about ink. I didn't want to hassle or headache. so if you can, order them. how many are you looking to get and your price range...if you don't mind me asking

I need 150. I like the pocket invites, and of course I've heard they are pricey!! BUT I don't really have a price limit (since I am paying myself) plus I think they would be a lot of work!! Ok I think I will order!! THANKS!!
