Need LI Bridal shower location as inexpensive as possible!

So I am getting married in CT but I just moved here so I am having the bridal shower in NY, where I am from. So many of my friends and family are on Long Island, so I want to have my bridal shower there to make it easy for them.

I am planning on about 15-20 people, nothing huge, but I have to keep the cost very low-between 10-15 pp, and if a drink would be included that would be even better. All the offers to use people's houses have come from out of NY (CT, NJ, PA...) so we need to find a venue.

Should I just give up at this point or is there any hope? I would like to aim for Nassau County area, or farther like Huntington. It will be a big trip for me but I want it to be easy for everyone else since they will travel far for the wedding!

I'd like to do Saturday Lunch (not a big fan of brunch menus but Ill take what I can get if it has to be Sunday to be cheap enough) i love fun, involved ideas like melting pot but I just dont think the price would be low enough :(

FSIL had a baby shower last year at Cozymel's for $12 per person. It was all 'appetizers' they say but it was SOOO much food and they gave them the room really early to decorate it and it was great! My mom called this year about my shower and they said it was an extra $2 pp for drinks but that was still the price (I swear last year drinks were included) even so that's REALLY cheap and everyone had an amazing time! The one in Merchant's Concourse!
I would have loved my shower there except we really didn't want another shower there with all the same guests.

try ciao baby. there is one in carle place, 1 in massapque and 1 in commack.

ive only been to the carle place location but prices are reasonable and they will definately work with you on menu and budget!

How about the Orchid in Garden City? They have very reasonable prices. It's a Chinese restaurant but slightly more upscale and they have a private room.

Also, there is a Charlie Brown's Steakhouse in Garden City I think which has lunch menu's for $12.99

Giardino's in Douglaston is very reasonable. I don't know if it's that cheap but it's really reasonable.

Gasho of Japan does them too. Only Lunch I believe and they cook right in front of you. My sister's shower was there and it was VERY reasonable.

Try piccolo bussala maybe? They have a couple locations- I know one is in Mineola. its family style italian. Maybe they will have a good price for you.
