Need LOTs of prayers

Fh went into the hospital Saturday night with his right side totally numb and we thought it was a pinched nerve, turns out he had a minor stroke. I'm beside myself when I'm alone and whe i'm not alone I'm at hte hospital or working from my blackberry..I haven't slept in days and I'm just so worried and in disbelief that this happened to a 39 year old man....

My thoughts are with you. My mom was diagnosed as having had a mini-stroke (TIA) when she was 35. She's fine now so think positive thoughts.

Only update is that the NYPD sent their own doctors over and was not satisfied with the level and speed of his care and they sent in all new neurologists and doctors- this was a great thing b/c now thye are running more tests instead of being like 'the MRI showed a mini stroke, now you can go home' Some doctors need to figure out what it feels liek to be the patient and the patients loved ones anddo everything to figure out what is happening... I'm sick over this, I had to take a xanax to calm down...

My ex-husband was 42 when he had a TIA. You need to make sure that he stays on his meds going forward, he will need to watch his cholostral intake and if overweight, he should lose it. My ex made a full recovery within a few weeks. Good luck. I have been there and if you need to talk FM me.
