Need Major Opinions

The HM cruise we were going with might not work out so now I need help.

I've got the following cruiselines, which do you think is best?

Celebrity on Ship:Millenium

OR

Carnival on Ship:Freedom

If you've traveled on either, please post pros and cons.

I been on a carnival cruise twice. Loved it. It really depends on the people I think....Carnival is know as the 'Fun Ship'.
Celebrity....when I hear of them, I think of 'old' people.
Ummmmm
What about Norwegian Cruise lines? I heard a TON of great things about them....They are like an 'everybody' cruise line

I think but am not sure that Carnival is like a lower end cruise line, whereas Celebrity is more fancy-not sure if that makes sense! I went on a Carnival Cruise last year and it was quite nice, but it was also my first cruise so I have nothing to compare it to. From what I have heard Celebrity, Royal Carribean, Princess are more luxury type cruises

I agree... I went on Carnival with my girl friends when we graduated HS (forever ago) and been or Celebrity with my family and just went last year with FH and another couple. Celebrity cruise lines are higher end. It's your HM so you may want to pick Celebrity and go all out.

Definitely agree about Celebrity being higher end...Went on a cruise to bermuda with my family years ago. Parents went on a Holland America Mediterranean cruise several years ago and loved it..but it was my parents (early 50's) and a bunch of their friends, so that might cater to an older clientele. Not sure though. I think Staceylacey in her review said her and her hubby went on a cruise, and didn't care that some of the people were older.

FH went on celebrity and he liked it...We went on the crown princess this past summer it was its 2nd voyage ever-the new ship that docks out of brooklyn, it is one of the bigger ships, theres just a few that are bigger and it is gorgeous...There were ALOT of young people on there and great destinations too

we have cruised Princess and loved it!! the service was great and we are cruising Princess for our HM. if you want to get more info on the cruises themselves try taking a look at www.cruisecritic.com it will give you reviews on the different cruises.

as far as Carnival vs. Celebrity....I would do Celebrity as it's the higher end ship -- it's is your HM after all treat yourselves!!

Just so you know -- the company that owns Carnival also owns Celebrity -- its the same thing. The food is the same quality, etc. The differences you'll see are the guests (their ages) and the activities. I've heard great things about Celebrity. I've been on 4 Carnival cruises (and we're going on one for our HM). I have nothing but AWESOME things to say about them. The service is always outstanding, the ships are nice, the food and entertianment--fantastic. Personally, i would go with Carnival because the activities and entertianment is geared more towards our age group (20's) as opposed to Celebrity which is a little older (not by much though).

Cant go wrong with either.
