Old Bethpage is a little bit nicer. I'm not too familiar with the schools but I think Bethpage is pretty good. There are parts of Old Bethpage and Bethpage that also go to Plainview School district too, which is pretty good as well.

I think Hicksville is hit or miss (JMO - not trying to offend anyone). I live in westbury, which is hit or miss too lol!
I think Bethpage is nicer, IMHO. Its one of the places FH and I might look when we start house hunting.

we're looking in nassau as well, we've been told that if you're going to buy in bethpage you want the plainedge school district, HTH

Hicksville is large Indian and Pakistan area , i think the school districts are good, Bethpage is nice thats where we would like to live but island trees school district

Hicksville is true what the ap poster said. I know someone who taught high school in that district. She said the students were either very smart or failed miserably.
