Can anyone recommend some good places to eat in the city for my bachelorette party?
I suppose Continental or Italian would probably be best so everyone has something (I have vegetarians and vegans coming)...some place moderately priced that is not too far away from Webster Hall.
Any thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Jamie

Re: Need NYC Restaurant Recommendations
We ate at the Mandarin Oriental for my b-party but they're a bit pricey. However, their food is INSANE and the skyline view is to die for.

Re: Need NYC Restaurant Recommendations
Go to The Smith! Really fun hip restaurant literally across the street from Webster Hall! Very cool scene.
How about The Smith? The food is really good, not overly priced either. The zucchini chips are amazing, and the mac and cheese is sooooooooooooo goooooood... Loud and fun atmosphere. They have a private room downstairs (not sure how many people you are or their minimum)
Its on 3rd and 11th I want to say. So right by Webster hall (right, ?)
I am also a huge fan of Pipa which is spanish tapas. for groups over 10 they require a prix fixe menu and you can include alcohol in that. At least that way all the girls will know how much they are spending a head of time. Pipa is on 5th and 20th or 19th. Too lazy to look it up. sorry!

Pipa is great too! Not too too far from Webster and its usually an anti-sausage fest there (does that make sense? its like 90% female there)
I still vote the Smith b/c amazing beer selection and super good food---crawfish hush puppies and the bread pudding are my fav!

Re: Need NYC Restaurant Recommendations
I work across the street from Pipa. Its ok but im crazy about the food. In that area, here are some more options:
- Haru (18th and Park) - sushi, fun cool atmosphere - Wildwood BBQ (17th & Park) - casual BBQ, young atmosphere - Barbounia - (20th & Park) - Beautiful place, Greek/Mediterranean food, a bit pricey but cool - Dos Caminos (22nd & Park) - Fun Mexican

Re: Need NYC Restaurant Recommendations
I agree with the above suggestions of the Smith. It is my favorite restaurant. The food is SO good. Pipa is pretty good too, but the tables are always so crowded and smushed...it might not be the best for a large group.
