Need opinion/help: Chateau Briand Brides (or soon to be)

For those of you who are using CB, were you told that you will have an ice sculpture, and if so, was it stated in your contract?

It's really a minuscule thing to concentrate on, but my BM mentioned he would 'throw in an ice sculpture'; however, when revising my contract again, I saw that it wasn't listed. I've kindly and cordially e-mailed him 3 times regarding my question (in a span of 3 weeks) and I have had no response. Before calling, I was wondering what any of your experience with this was.

It's listed in my contract. I would call to make sure it's in writing.

Are you saying in the contract as free; or that you'd pay for it? I was told it would be extra since they don't have someone on the premisis to provide it and they have to get it from elsewhere.

ETA-you've gone 3 weeks without a response?Have you booked already? I'd call and ask to speak to your BM.

i didnt have an ice sculpture but when it came time to have some changes made to the menu they did mess it up a bit. i called them up right away to say i needed the correct info on my contract asap!!!

Yeah I know...I like giving people the benefit of doubt, which puts me at a disadvantage many times.
I was referring to the BM being able to include it in our contract as part of our overall 'package' (not paying extra). I distinctively remembered him saying that it will be possible because my FH was really infatuated with the darn thing. I even wrote it on my notes.

Nevertheless, I JUST called and they mentioned my BM is with other clients. I hope he follows up with my phone call promptly, because he didn't do so via e-mail. Thanks girls! I appreciate the opinions!

They threw it in as an extra...I would just find out when your bm is there and go up there. Its easier to get things done face to face.

i agree.I'm getting my sculpture as an extra. if you go up there and stare them done, u can get things done! i had to call my BM 3 times before he got back to me but when he did was very attentive. It is the height of wedding season so i can see how they are busy. when i initially started looking back in feb/march, they answered my calls right away! ha
