I had my hair odne last week and it cost $$$, but I was fine with it, because it was a long process to go from all the red I had to the color I have now. Thing is the lady I feel didnt put in enough chunky highlights so i called her the same day and told her how i felt and she said to come in a week(tomorrow).
My mom says she shouldnt charge me, but if she tries to? Should I say something in the very beginning, like 'Hi, thanks for doing this, there isnt going to be an extra charge for this though righ?' or should I just have it done and then if she tries to bill me then say something?

I think maybe you should say something right in the beginning. If you paid that much $$$$ for it and you are not happy she should fix it at no charge!!

Re: Need opinions
Since highlights cost $$$$ I would go in and give her a tip in the beginning, implying it should have been done the first time for what you paid, but you appreciate her giving you this time when she could have other clients. Maybe a $30 tip and say thank you for doing this for me. This is for your service to me. It should end it right there. JMO.

I would go in, let her fix it, and then give a small tip. To be honest, it wasn't done right the first time-you have NO obligation to tip-but I would.

No, don't say anything because she may not be planning to charge you and you don't want other customers to hear your buisness. Also, you will be putting her on the spot. By you offering her the small amt. /generous tip, you are pretty much implying I EXPECT NOT TO BE CHARGED, but thanks.

Re: Need opinions
I worked in a hair salon for 8 years. I trully wouldn't worry about. Where I worked if you were not happy we never charged to fix it because the customer was not happy and it is our job to make them. Go in get it fixed and just give a tip.

This is what I would do and if she tries to charge you just say you didnt expect to be charged for her to fix your hair the way you wanted it to begin with. I wouldnt worry about it too much, I think you will be ok since you called her and told her it wasnt the way you wanted it to begin with-but just in case

Re: Need opinions
something similar happened to ma and although i was not charge for the touch-up of the color (i was told in advance) he charged me for the blowout - which i thought was pretty rude!
Maybe just ask befored you go

she shouldn't charge you. I would just ask her before you get anything done.
