Our e-party is this Sunday. My father is wearing a suit. I have a feeling a few men will be as well. It is at an Italian restaurant...sit down dinner. My FH is planning on wearing a button down nice shirt and nice pants...I don't think a tie and I know for sure he does not plan on wearing a suit. I feel like maybe he should, but I am not sure. Can I have your opinions girls? TIA!!!

if he wore JUST a tie... he might be a little underdressed. i think the nice pants and nice shirt with a tie would be the best option.

i would say either a suit jacket with his dress pants and shirt or the tie i don`t think he needs both.

I think the most important thing for him to be is COMFORTABLE and not awkward. I know for my own FH personally - a tie is a very weird feeling on him and pics of him in them I can always notice a difference...very few others can - but i know there is...
You know you're going to love the pics from this - so i vote for letting the man wear what he's happy in :)

I also think it's important for him to be comfortable. If he is completely uncomfortable in a suit, maybe he could compromise and wear a shirt and tie, no jacket?

Thanks girls, this is what I was thinking he should do...I truly dont care...I just would hate to go to OUR eparty and other guys be way more dressed then FH is...ya know?

Bring a tie with you and this way, if he decides otherwise, he can wear it...or he can wear no tie and a sports jacket, which is just as nice!
