So I'm going for a fourth (yes 4th) hair trial tomorrow - cuz I can't figure out what to do with my hair... and here's my dilemma... my mother is on my butt about putting my hair ALL up - because I need to look 'elegant'... my FH wants my hair all down or 1/2 and 1/2... cuz he says I look like I have a 'cupcake' shape for a head when it's all up... Aside from his insensitivity - typical Y-chromosome that lacks a verbal filter - I don't know what to do... What is everyone else's opinion? Are you up, down, 1/2 and 1/2? Why? Oh! If you have pics of something that you absolutely loved or want to try - please share... please?

im doing 1/2 up and 1/2 down, i hate the way i look when its all up. but as for you, whatever makes you comfortable!! im sure either way you will look beautiful......btw,......that dress is sooo pretty, i love it!!!

I like the 1/2 and 1/2 b/c when my hair is all up I feel like my face looks terrible!
I also like that style b/c I think most anyone can wear it.
I have a bunch of different styles in my album. You can take a look and see if you see anything in there.

i;m wearing 1/2 up 1/2 down beacuse it's just what works for my hair. All down would be in my face and all up is just too heavy since I have a lot of really think hair.

forget what anyone else says---what do YOU AND FH like??
do what you think looks best on you---your mom will get over it if you choose 1/2 & 1/2 -- cause no matter what she'll forget her objection when she sees the finished product.
i personally did 1/2 & 1/2 because that is what looks best on me.

Personally I am going with 1/2 and 1/2 because it looks better on me. You should wear your hair however you feel most comfortable wearing it.

If my FH like my hair 1/2 up and 1/2 down then that is what I would do. It is a day about us so I would want to please him not my mother. Sometimes there is no pleasing her anyway

Dee, Kacey from Kholoud's Beauty is doing my hair for the wedding. I will be wearing my hair half up/half down. Very Julia Roberts in Steel Magonlias. The photos from my hair trial is in my album. Feel free to look at them.

I voted 'other' because my hair is going to be in a sort of low bun ... which I guess is still technically considered up .... but not the cupcake style

Dude I am having the exact same issues with hair. I'm going for my fifth hair trial next week. And after that I better love it because knowing me I'll still be going for trials AFTER the wedding!!!!

I thougth it was just me, glad to know it's not. I had 2 trials & hated them both. I have a 3rd sunday. I want 1/2 & 1/2 but that may be why I don't like how it came out. It always looks like a sweet 16 hairstyle that way, i can't gw it to look elegant
