So I went MOB gown shopping with my momma yesterday and we had so much fun.
This is the gown she's LOVED the most (in this color).
It looked SOOOOO great on her but she's afraid she'll clash with the BP and she wants to 'blend'

my mom really wanted to wear black,...BMs are wearing black...or red...MOH is is red....I don't think it matters really, it doesn't bother me

that's what i told her! i REALLY don't care especially since the only pics that will have her and the BP in it will be my immediate family photos b/c my sisters are my MOHs.
they didn't have the BM gown at the store we went to so i'll go to a store that has both so we can compare, but i just wanted some opinions.

Im not really a fan of the MOB wearing a color that 'matches' the BM's.. IMO (probably b/c i am really type A and OCD lol) each should be their own.. So the MOB and the BM's should stand out.
Does the dress come in another color???
BUUUTTT if you are okay with it and your mom is happy, thats really all that matters.

i dont think it clashes but i personally prefer that the MOB or MOG don't match w/ the BP

It's Enzoani's Love collection. It's a little expensive (I think it was $700), but she really loves it.
It comes in other colors but she's really blonde and fair skinned and I think the other colors might not work for her. We'll see though.

That dress is stunning. I'd say go for it! It's not like they are in too many photos together.
ETA: Now looking at the other colors available- I think the blueberry or green would look stunning!
Edited again to add: My dress was Enzoani and I absolutely loved it! His stuff is amazing!

LOVE the MOB dress... I don't think it really matters all that much if it's the same coloring! I don't care, my mom is the one who cares more about the bm's dresses and all. I am all about having one color one designer and different styles for the girls (they are such varying sizes and shapes) but my mom would love to see the girls all in one dress and the MOH in another.

I was so worried about colors for MOB at first, but my sisters who have all gotten married in the last 28 months made a really good point- that the MOB is seperate from the BP. There are almost NO pictures that include the MOB and the entire bridal party. I mean, if you have siblings in the BP then yeah, they will be in the same pictures, but the way you line up BP's for pictures and stuff, I have never seen parents in those pictures. And if you do have them, she won't clash because there are tuxes everywhere.
AND she certianly shouldn't blend in with the BP. She is the MOTHER of the bride...that's pretty serious.

I love it, it definitely doesn't clash, does but does it come in anything that is not as close the the girls colors. who is the designer of both of those dresses, they are both gorgeous!

comes in a few other colors, but none that she's totally hot on.
the MOB gown is Enzoani Love and the BMs are Watters WTOO Bridesmaids style 866
