Need opinions of BMs' bouquets...
Currently I have it so that each girl carries around 20-25 roses (solid color) and I was going to let each girl pick the color roses she wanted, whether it be yellow, red, etc. and the bouquet would be tied with coordinating ribbon.Do you think that will look funny if they each have a different color? Their dresses are black. I saw a photo of it and thought it looked neat, but now I'm having second thoughts.

I think that could be really amazing, but give them a choice of colors. I think you should go in and look at the color roses first, and decide which ones go well together. This way you can keep them in the same hue, and you won't have some pastel, some primary..etc.

I agree. Try to keep it in the same 'hue' but I like the idea. I think it will break up the black dresses. Nice idea

Nice idea, I think it'll be very pretty, but I think YOU should pick the colors, too many people involved might cause some chaos, and that way you could make sure they all compliment each other.

I went to a wedding in August where they did that and it was so pretty. Each girl had a boquet - yellow, cream, pink. . . and the gm that she walked down with had matching bout color. The bride had a mixture of all the colors! Their dresses were champagne color. I think it would look amazing with black!

I love this idea too. I like the idea of coordinating the GM as well. I would agree about the hue. Maybe you can pick out the colors and let them pick which color they want to carry from your choices.

Re: Need opinions of BMs' bouquets...
Ok, as long as it doesn't sound corny.
When I mentioned the 'choosing colors' idea to my FH last week, he told me to do what you girls said, which is pick the colors myself for the bridesmaids and only let my MOH pick her color.
I didn't intend to match my bouquet with theirs.
Mine will be 50-60 roses of cream & light blush roses and it goes with my dress which is light blush w/gold & pearl beading. My centerpieces will have the same color roses as well.I guess I could always use more muted colors for the BMs to go more with my colors as opposed to bright ones.

Re: Need opinions of BMs' bouquets...
One of the girls on weddingchannel.com picked out 2 shades of pink and then let the girls pick out the tops and bottoms that they wanted. Then each girl's bouquet was their favorite flower in various shades of pink. It looked great! I would have the girls in the same material and pick 2 shades of one color. That way it doesn't look like a rainbow wedding- unless you want that look. Then have the roses in different shades, but one or two color families. I think it will look great!

Re: Need opinions of BMs' bouquets...
That's exactly what i'm doing each girls will have one solid color of roses and mine is going to be a mixture of all there colors. I talked it over with John from Flower Michele and i'm going to do earthtone colors (like champagne, salmon, the black magic rose and so on) He wrote down what roses they were but i couldn't tell you what the hell they were from what he wrote. The BM's are in champagne and the MOH's in butterscotch. I think I will pick the colors for them. I think it will just be easier that way. I saw it in a pic I saw at a photographers book and i loved it!!!

Re: Need opinions of BMs' bouquets...
You should talk it over with John - He was really helpful. I just told him the idea and he went with it. He asked me if I wanted the blush tones or if I wanted to stay more with a fall theme which is what i wanted. I would really talk to him and you can come up with ideas together. I just didn't know what i should do for the centerpieces. Whether i should do each table all one color or do them all mixed like my bouqet. what do you think? I know I have time but I'm such a pre-planner.Welcome New Vendors
