I was thinking today that my FH always wanted to skydive so I was thinking of getting him a gift certificate for a jump. What do you girls think? It's not very romantic but its sort of a once in a lifetime thing.

Re: Need Opinions on FH gift
I think it's very different and I think he'd love it! Great original idea that shows you really thought of him. Maybe you can dive together!

do you skydive? going together would make it romantic..... Make sure to get him a gift certificate for a lesson/jump - if you just ask for a jump one they may assume he's an experienced jumper and not include a lesson and then he wouldn't be able to jump. good luck! (I've never done it, but my FH is an avid jumper).

I LOVE that idea! Go for it!! As for the romantic side, I know many brides who have given their FH a watch. Beautiful, absolutely. Very romantic, nah, not really.

Very unique. Make sure you also buy him the midair video or photo as part of the package.
I went skidiving out east at Skydive Long Island and it was a nice experience...If you have never jumped you can only go 3000 feet up and the rope is pulled right after you jump...or you can go up to 11,000 feet tandum...thats what I did and I wasn't nervouse at all...I figured that the people on my back were pretty concerned with things going right...
I got a picture...but it is hard to see me...although my friend got a good one...if I did it again I might get a video...
just a warning...you have to be under 220 pounds...don't know whee your FH fits...my FH is tall and I don't think will ever get under that requirement to go...
good luck

Re: Hey Tracey
Let's just hope he doesn't get addicted to it and then you'd have to add that to your 'things to worry about list' My husband just sold his motorcycle after being on one since he can walk, but that didn't include the accident he had last year when the bike went under him! OUCH!
I sleep easier now! But seriously I think it's a nice gift.
