A perfect snow day project! Here are my invites. I am trying to go with the same look for the seating cards and menu cards. What do you think- honest opinions and constructive criticism welcomed! (THe menu cards will have line at bottom also- the printer just screwed up this one).

I think they look great! One suggestion: I would not include the words 'wedding menu' on the menu. It is just stating the obvious. But I like the date on the bottom.

Very pretty.
I agree about adding a description of each..you may also want to note what sort of wine you are serving with dinner for those that appreciate that sort of thing.
On your invite and placecard, I'd like to see something decorative added but keeping with a very simple design. Maybe a large, semi transparent '&' that sort of floats behind the words?

Thank you for the advice everyone. I didn't make the invites- Crane's did I did have the envelopes hand lined though, with this great red paper I found. Great ideas- I think I will add food descriptions to the menus, as well as the wine. On the placecards, I have decided to write Table X in script under the names. I think it jazzes it up a little bit (who says jazzes except detail obsessed brides?).
