Our hall has an optional chocolate fondue fountain..but it's $5.00 pp (down from $7.50) and I'm inviting 193 people...so I'm looking at at least $650-750. Is it worth it? I was planning on a chcolate grooms' cake at the RD and our budget is tight....we're already being given the international coffee and cordial bar because we gauranteed so many people.

Give out chocolate favors instead if you want chocolate! Check Baci - which means KISS in Italian. You can leave one on everyone's napkin. I did that with candy canes this weekend at my e-party and everyone loved it!

If your budget is tight, skip it.
It would be cool but not necessary and IMO not worth an extra $650. But then I don't eat chocolate

I wouldnt with a tight budget. I'm also trying to decide on whether to extend the party 1/2 hr with 1/2 vienesse hr. It's $6 a head. I'm going to wait until I get a better count and decide closer to the date.

I am a chocoholic and to tell you the truth I wouldn't spend the money because not everyone can or will eat it. JMO

I know someone who did the chocolate fountain and people still rave about it. With all the money we spend on a wedding, what's another $700. Have no regrets and make your day memorable!

honestly - if my budget was already tight - i probably wouldn't get it. however - this is your wedding!!! if you think people will enjoy it and you can swing it, then go for it!!

Ok I am a Chocolate lover and ever since I saw this fountain I have wanted it at my reception. It is so different. If you really love it see if you can trim somewhere else to get it.
