You should go with the color you really want. They will be inside pretty much all of the time anyway. Unless you have an outside weddding then you might rethink.

I am personally not a fan of black BM dresses. But you should do what you like. I am doing pink in winter

I am not a fan of black bridesmaid dresses whether it is winter, fall, spring or summer for that matter- but the dress is beautiful! and if you loe it and everyone is ok with it...go for it

I honestly would not go with black in July or in any of the summer months...its just too dark... the only way I would do black is in the winter night ultra formal wedding... there are so many beautiful elegant colors out there...I honestly feel that the BMs' dresses should liven up the color scheme of the wedding.

But the dress you chose in black is truly beautiful. Good luck!

ETA: You're also getting married in Milleridge Cottage which is a very bright and lively place...I would def go with a light colored dress.
