Need Opinions...with POLL

So all this talk about hand canceling invitations has me wondering....I am sending mine out today and they are completely flat, no bows, no buckles, etc....I am getting mixed reviews about whether to hand cancel or not...so I would love your opinions!!! Should I or just let it be??? I have the usual stuff inside, outer envelope, inner envelope, directions cards to church and RH, reception info card, RSVP card with envelope, and this all fits into the 58 cents stamp range....what do you think? TIA!!!

my opinion (since you asked )...

It doesn't make a difference either way. If you have an extra 20 minutes to spend at the post office to hand stamp the stamp yourself...why not...it was relaxing...lol...it will give you piece of mind...

OR...its a regular standard shape and size envelope...it's what the post office does...just drop them...they'll get to their destination just fine.

Good luck...seriously no wrong choice...

Wait, the post office lets people hand cancel stamp their own mail? I think I'm confused. The term 'Hand Cancel' means the PO guys cancel out your postage that you already placed on there. I used to do this as a little girl when I sent mixed tapes to pen pals but all I did was write 'PLEASE HAND CANCEL' - so confused now.

thats funny, about the tapes ...well what it means is that they either stamp it cancelled or if they are busy they often will give you the stamp to do it...i may not bother
