For an 8 year old, I would say #1. I think #2 looks more like a flower girl dress. They are both adorbale though

I love #1.......#2 is more flower girl looking to me....

I like them both but #2 has more princess appeal to me - as a kid I would have liked the poofy one better - that is just me though.. Maybe ask the girls which one they like?

def #1 for Junior bridesmaid. the second is totally flowergirl. And I am sure the 8 year old girls would love to wear either, I think they would look very breath taking in number 1. They will look like little women instead of children! it is crazy!
