Need outdoor reception hall suggestions for a friend
A friend of mine just got engaged and she and her FH want to have an outdoor ceremony. They live in Brooklyn and are looking around the area. Can anyone recommend a place with maybe a 75 person mininum and $100 pp or under that would be in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens or just over the border into Nassau? Thanks ladies!

We had an outdoor wedding ceremony at Stewart Manor CC. It's about 2 miles into Nassau.

Unfortunately there is no such place in Brooklyn (at least no where that I know of) and that's why I'm having a LI Wedding

whatever she does outside, make sure to have a backup plan for rain/snow/whatever...
originally i was looking into vineyards as an option but was unable to find a good indoor/outdoor scenario that fit my budget.

It's beautiful but pricey - I think the site fee is $8000-10000 You can call Stone Caterers - I went to them, but they are out of my range!!

She tried the Palm House at BBG and LOVED it BUT they have a $3000 site fee and a minimum guarantee of 100. She is looking for something with a min of 60-75 and no site fee and under $100.
She is still considering BBG, but she is afraid it will be too expensive and difficult to pull off.

BBG is the ONLY place I can think of in Brooklyn (that's also why I'm getting married at WM)...as far as I know there are none in Staten Island and anything in Manhattan will be $$$$$.

Our reception was at the Stewart Manor Country Club (www.stewartmanor.com) They have a gazebo for an outdoor ceremony. Yours is the only wedding, great food, pretty grounds for pictures. $65 pp, but I think it's a minimum guarantee of 100. Talk to James. He's the best!!
