Kim, THANK YOU for posting that! I am not Catholic; FH is, and we are getting married in a Catholic church, but without a mass. Does anyone (Kim?) know which parts of the post above would not be included in a ceremony without mass? I'm guessing from Liturgy of the Eucharist to Concluding Rite. Yes? No? Thanks!

I believe everything is the same but for a ceremony there is no communion. From what I was told by the priest, an actual mass is only 15 minutes longer than a ceremony.

shawl - you can ask readers for the first and second reading but NOT the gospel (that is read by the priest).
