Ok, so I like the infamous Bill Levkoff style # 966 (except I would get it in taffeta). Only one of my BM's doesn't like it.....so I was thinking that maybe I'd browse at some other dresses just to see if there's anything else I should have them try on.

Helen, what is it about the dress she doesn't like? If we know what she doesn't like, we can probably make better suggestions about dresses with sashes.
I only ask b/c most of mine are very similar to the dress you posted!
ETA - The only thing we didn't like about that particular dress you posted when we tried it on was how wide the sash is. It's a gorgeous dress, but for the bustier girls, the wide sash didn't look nearly as nice as the thinner ones that sat a bit lower.

well she has mentioned that she doesn't like the material- taffeta, but I think it might be the wide sash too......so I think I'm looking for dresses with thinner sashes. Once I find some contenders I'll find out what stores have them and they can try them on & see how they feel.

They don't have sales but the do accept coupons...I used these (the tea length ones) for my BMs and were were able to save 20% for each of them on the dresses and matching shoes and get free shipping...if you're even cinsidering them you should go to their website and sign up for the e-mails if you don't already get them

Thanks Kara!! Yes I know....the satin style # is 966 the taffeta is # 557. Regardless of whether I choose satin or taffeta I was thinking that if I choose one with a thinner sash she might like it better.
