I never usually post stuff like this, but I just found out that my friend who is getting married this Saturday just lost her mother.
It's been a long battle with ovarian cancer, and the last few months have been touch and go. Her mother just passed away about 2 hours ago.
She said they are still going to go ahead with the wedding, but I am just absolutely heartbroken for her. I cannot imagine having to go through the devastation of losing a parent four days before my wedding.
Can everyone please just keep my friend and her family in their prayers?

I am so sorry for your friend's loss.
My FIL passed away unexpectedly last week, 3 days after we came back from our HM.
This is very difficult to deal with.

Let your friend know that she is in all of our prayers, I know just how she feels I lost my mom this past Feb.

My heart goes out to her and her family. May sound odd, but the first thing that came to mind was the song, 'Holes in the floor of Heaven'. It's about losing a loved one and how a girl lost her mother before her wedding day. It's sad...but a great song.

Omg, I am so sorry to hear that!!!! That's terrible, but rest assured that your friend's mother is in a better place and no longer suffering.
