Need prayers(updated 1/15)

we looking at this apt again that we really like. we doing a thorough check. if we like everything we may take it. dh loves the kitchen

we're not going to take the apt. we go to check one of the windows and the landlord seemed surprised the window wouldn't stay up. in the bathroom, there was something wrong wiht the medicine cabinet door. the shower water was brown. we didn't like the landord's attitude. he said he doesn't like too many complaints. if the air conditioner breaks, its on us not him. the wiring is old. his wiring is up to date but not downstairs. i was a little disappointed. tomorrow we'll go around to different real estate agents.

we're staying in bklyn. the agent called us this morning. he said the landlord said we complained too much. we couldnt help it if we were finding things wrong. the more stuff we found, the landlord was getting nervous

sorry it didn't work out for you. but it sounds like you're much better off!

a good landlord is very important! as is no brown water in the shower!

i agree. if though i was upset about it last nite, it worked out for the best. i mean, i would think he would check everything out before he rents it

Wow...yeah...it definitely sounds like one of those...'if it's meant to be it'll happen'...and that apt wasn't meant to be.
It's a good thing you're both smart enough to find these things up front. Some people just jump into things and don't find out until it's too late.
