I'm so sorry to hear that!!!! I will definitely keep your cousin in my prayers. You hear of this way too often these days! It's so sad. One of my former students was instiutionalized this past week because she tried to take her life. Although they are so young some of these teenagers have to deal with so much! I have learned a lot about this through the spiritual retreats that the high school I teach at offers. I go as a chaperone but I also sit in on their talks. When I hear what some of the girls talk about you would think it was a 30 yr old person talking. It's just horrible.

I hope your cousin will be okay! I don't know if she is spiritual or not but talk to her even though she is in a coma and tell her that she is not alone and that if God has brought her to this point in her life...he will help her get through this obstacle she is facing.

I just found out that my cousin tried to commit suicide. She's 17 and overdosed on her mom's medication. She's in a coma. That's all we know. Please send prayers. I'll keep u updated on her condition.

oh my goodness! how awful!

it makes me so sad how quickly kids think its better to go that route... all my love to you *& yours/..
