my sisters friend was killed on her way to school today and another one is in critical condition.....we need everyones prays...i just dont know what to tell my lil sis...

yeah it happened in hicksville....they were 500 feet away from the high school and a jamacia ash truck hit the car spun and flipped it. the girl that my sister knows was killed instantly and the boy that was driving her other friend is in critical condition.....it seems the more your hear about accidents it seems the worse the stories get and when it hits home it is worse then ever.....my friend died my 10th grade year in a house fire it was rough...the story is on news12.com...horrible....i think half these truck drivers think that they own the roads and that is why half these problems occur....what an awful thing....but we can not blame anyone b/c we dont know exactly what happened.....i feel so bad for my sister and this girls family....3 months till she graduated.... makes you think twice about life....never take anything for granted and live everyday like it is your last...that is what i have learned lost to many friends in my high school year.......

I am truly sorry. It is horrible. The best thing you can do is just be there for your sister. She's going to need a lot of love and support to get her through this.

I heard about that on the news on my way home from work...that is so horrible! Your poor sister.
I know someone who is a teacher a Hicksville High too!
Its such a tragedy to loss someone so young!

I live very close to that intersection. I ALWAYS hear about accidents there. Its horrible...so young...many prayers to your sister, & her friends family....

thanks girls for all the support, i appreciate it alot. the school had told some of the kids that attend there that the driver of the may have been intoxicated according to the police....horrible....instead of just doing there thing and not driving, people rather run the risk of i'm ok and still drive and risk others lives....so horrible..... thanks again girls for all the prays.....

REALLY ARE THEY GRADUATING THIS YEAR.....IF YOU DONT MIND ME ASKING WHAT THERE LAST NAME IS....IF NOT FM ME IF YOU WANT....DID YOU GO TO HICKSVILLE AS WELL??????
I KNOW THAT THE KIDS ARE GETTING ALOT OF SUPPORT FROM THE GUIDANCE COUNSLERS BUT IT IS STILL SO UNFAIR AND UNFOURTUNATE.

Just try and be supportive. When I was in high school I lost a very good friend and it took me a while to get over it. Certain things remind me of it and I am still very close with his family. She will just need time to let it settle in.
