Tomorrow I am going to a surprise b'day party for my cousin's 40th b'day. I don't know what to get him!!!
Please help with some creative ideas. He has two young daughters and he just bought a new home (should I bring a house warming gift also?).

is the party at his house? If not bring a house warming gift to the house when you first go visit it.
Do you want to get a gag 'over the hill' gift or something else? What are his interests? Does he have any hobbies?

Hey I'm going to a 40th bday party this weekend & faced the SAME dilemma.. I bought my step-aunt (step mom's sister) a bottle of piper heidwick champagne.. $35...
Good stuff & you would usually NOT buy yourself that...
So maybe get him a nice bottle of scotch? Like an 18year single malt?

A nice wallett, key chain or cufflinks. Maybe tickets to go see his favorite team (that is if he is a sports fan.)
