Do I keep my name as maiden, or put my married name? We're both on the checks and both on the account.

you should keep your current name- think about it, how can you put a name that doesn't legally exist on a legally binding document? does that make sense?

I'd imagine since your wedding is in Sept and you're low enough now to consider ordering checks that you don't have enough to hold you over until you change your name... so I'd keep my maiden name on them in that case.. if you did hapen to have enough til then, I'd order with my new name.

We just got our checks. I kept my maiden name. I'll get new checks when I change my name

Sorry. Just seeing this now. You can order 25 checks from vistaprint for free... would that be enough? i'm sure you could do it more than once... then you won't have to waste any once you change your name!!! (taht's what I just did!)
