Need rec. for place to have 1st Anniversary dinner....
Seeing as our son will be 7 weeks old, all we're doing is going out to dinner. My MIL will (hopefully) be watching our little man, so I'm looking for a place out east....she lives in Lake Grove. DH recommended J &R Steak house, but we've been there a few times and I wanted some place different and special, but not TOO expensive.

How about the new Cheesecake Factory - affordable, large portions and great food!!!
Or if you want something more cozy, try any of the seafood restaurants in Port Jeff on the harbor. They're affordable, great view and good food.

Mirabelle in St James (but it is expensive) Garden Grill in Smithtown Three Village Inn in Stony Brook Danfords in Pt Jeff Grill Room in Hauppague Thai House in Smithtown Casa Rustica in Smithtown (a bit expensive)
