I used Marie Katz for my make up and loved her. She did such a fabulous job! I found her on this website.

I just had my makeup trial with Jacqueline Nicole.......I booked her on the spot...she was friendly, outgoing, and did a FABULOUS job on me.....here's a link to my post with pics..

Good luck....

As far as hair is concerned...Tarale is, by far, the most recommended on this board....but she was booked for my day..so if you can call her now and get a jump start, I'd do it.

She's bad at getting back to people right away--takes a few days or so, but she's worth it from all I've read.....just be patient. I'd call her ASAP.....she might already be booked for your day...but GOOD LUCK!!!!!

I am using Maureen Pedala for makeup. I really liked her and she did a great job.

I also went to Oksana, and although I loved her, I did not like the makeup. BUT - I have seen lots of other trial pics from her and the girls have looked absolutely gorgeous! You should try her as well.

I am on a hair mission myself. I had a trial with Jenn the Hair Genie. I loved the style, but not on me, so I am shopping around. Tarale is booked on my day. I have a trial with April from Creative Designs in 2 weeks - so we'll see how that goes.

I used Salon D'Arel. I go there for my hair and nails on a regular basis. they did a great job. I highly recommend them. They are in East Meadow.

I used her also she was great and I used for Hair Heather from Hair Effex in Bellmore she is great she is also my regular hair stylist!!! they are both amazing and work very well together!! They both came to my house day of my wedding
