Hi! I ws just wondering if anyone had a makeup artist they would recommend?? I have gotten my makeup professionally done before when I was in bridal parties and I hated it! I don't want this to happen and I dont have a fortune to spend on trials either. So recommendations would be great. I would prefer someone that would come to me since mot salons are closed on Sunday. I am also looking for a great hairstylist so please recommend if you know of a dynamic duo

Oksana and Jenn the Hair Genie and Sabrina and Carolyn (all vendors on here) are great!!! I am using Oksana for makeup and Carolyn for hair. Jenn was not available for my date but I was sitting across from a bride getting her hair done when I had my trial with Oksana and she did a beautiful job...all have really good reviews on here if you want to check them out!! I also had a great trial with Karen W. -she does both traditional and airbrush makeup. HTH

I used Janine Maloney for make-up, she was great!! You can see pics in my albums if you want!
If you don't have a ton of people getting ready, or a limited amount of time, Sachiko can do both hair and makeup.
If you'd like more reccs, tons of girls on the NYC knot boards have used Sachiko and Stacy.

Maureen Pedala did my makeup for my wedding and my friend's, and I love her! Pics are in my album of the trial and some non-pro from my wedding. her website is www.nyweddingmakeup.com. She is more than $200 though...you can check her site for updated priced :) Good Luck

you looked gorgeous in your trial pics - so much so that i contacted Sandra for a trial! we havent scheduled it yet because the next month or so is a little crazy for both of us but she penciled me in for my date and we will get to it towards the end of the summer. But i agree - she does beautiful work
Anne DeMarco is amazing too, but she was booked for my date
