So I'm finally getting around to starting my registry but I don't know how much of certain things I'll need. Does anyone have a good list of what you need to register for? For example, I know I'll need bottles, but how many?
Also, which stroller and car seat did you register for?

eta. I wish I could help about what stroller to register for. I started off with the newborn kind that comes with the carseat.. it was HORRIBLE. They dont even sell it anymore. It took me 3 more strollers before I finally gave up and bought a Peg pergo Venezia. A little pricey but I well worth it. I wish I just bought that one instead of wasting so much $$$ on the other ones

Thanks!! I feel so clueless about this stuff that I don't want to register or buy anything expensive because I don't even know if it's necessary!
I'm considering the Graco stroller with the carrier/snap car seat thingie. It's called the Quattro Travel System or something like that. Is that like what you got that you weren't happy with?

I have the peg perego infant seat and the venezia stroller...when I go to the stores I just put the car seat in the shopping cart...he uses the stroller by itself all the time 'around town'. It is heavy, but it does fit in the trunk nicely when we have traveled with it. We also picked up a combi ultra light for when he gets bigger...

Re: Need registry help please
as for bottles...I registered for a starter set of Dr. browns and a started set of advent ( 3 of each)...you have to see what will work best for your child, so I would suggest registering for a small amount of the type you think you might like to use, whatever that type might be...

Thanks - I definitely registered for the Dr. Browns - my friend swears by those. But you are right about registering for 2 kinds. I'm going to look into the Peg Perego strollers.

IMO its definitly worth it!! Yes the one you are talking about is similar to mine but a different brand. Stupid me went with my mom to pick it out and of course I didnt look up any of the reviews on the website and instead picked out the one we thought 'looked' the best Anthony is already 2 years and a few months and even though he isnt always thrilled about being in a stroller when he can just run around he seems to really love this ones!!!
Some of the other kinds I tried were soooo hard to push around!! ( when he was smaller and light as a feather!!) My hands and arms would be tired after walking around the mall pushing that thing!!! My sister also has the Peg Pergo Piliko (sp?? the same one mentioned above) and like me went through 3 strollers before buying it. She LOVES her peg. Her son is 2 1/2 years old and about 45 pounds and she still hasnt had a problem

That's the stroller I registered for - DH's 2 cousins who just had babies have it and SWEAR by it! The car seat pops out nice and easy and it folds up in one quick step.

I also registered for a Graco...and have only heard good things... I liked the Peg Perego too, but I couldn't get myself to register for something so expensive- my family wouldn't be able to buy it.
