Need response card wording advice...

Finally got the invite wording down pat! Here are our choices for the response card. Any advice? A) We look forward to celebrating with you Please respond before XXX M_____________________ ___ accepts with pleasure ___ declines with regret B) We look forward to celebrating with you Please respond by XXX M_____________________ ___ number of persons C) The favor of a reply is requested Before XXX M_____________________ will _____ attend We`re not sure if we want to include 'number of persons' since we don`t want any add-ons... What is everyone else doing? Thanks!!

Need response card wording advice...

I like your first choice. I think it's definately best to avoid the '# of people attending' option if you want to help avoid add-ons. We used a combination of what you have. Ours were the 'favor of a reply requested' heading, with the 'accept with pleasure, decline with regret' check boxes. I like the 'looking forward to celebrating' - I might have used that instead if I'd thought of it!

I have a question

What happens if you`re inviting a family and only a couple will be attending? If you only have check boxes, is it up to the family to write in the numbers if some are attending and some aren`t?
