I need a restaurant in NYC in the Chelsea area. Something not to fancy but not to gross either! We have a full night planned but need a place to eat something before the festivities...Any ideas?

It's not in Chelsea, but what about Tao or Spice Market. They're both Asian fusion and you will need a reservation, but they're bot trendy and not ridiculously expensive.

If you go to www.menupages.com and click on west 20's or chelsea, they will have most of the menus there, and people who have eatene there sometimes review them. Have fun

You should go to the Cowgirl Hall of Fame on W 10th (a little more West Village than Chelsea, but very close!).
It is a lot of fun- great food and not a ton of $$! (I have never had a problem with the service.)
