You can try El Caribe or the Riviera (not sure if that is the correct spelling).

You can try Sirico's Caterers on 80th and 13th Avenue. This place is beautiful. You also have the Grand Propect Hall in Park Slope, the Oriental Manor, Riviera Caterers, and there's one in Bay Ridge but I forgot the name. These are all in Brooklyn.

Let me know if you need anymore help. I'm from Brooklyn myself.

Happy planning

Thank you so much
i completely forgot about OM
is Sirico any good?
do the ones that you posted to family style catering
I dont like the 'official' one plate per person thing
i want everyone to be dressed to the nines but a more relaxed dining atmosphere

The El Caribe doesn't do family syle catering but they will let your guests try as many of the entrees as they'd like. (and you get 8 choices)

Hi

I live in Bklyn. I went to look at these RH before I book with Jericho Terrace.

Oriental Manor (86th street & 18 ave)-Closed
Sirico (13th & 65th)-Very good price, lots of food, great service
Riviera (on Stillwell Ave & Neptune Ave)- Very pricey and one wedding at a time. Beautiful and gorgeous!
Bay Ridge Manor - don't even bother
El Caribe -good but cannot take outside pictures for wedding.

Hope this is helpful.

I second Bubby's very cool vibe, I was at a very nice wedding there last summer.

All the ones that everyone mentioned are really nice but why not try one in Queens if it's not far from Brooklyn?

1. why not to bother with bay ridge manor?
2. is there something instead of OM?
and 3. is riviera really that nice? i keep hearing about it but it's hard for me to go see it since they can only show the place m-th 7-10 pm

thanks

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sirico's - My family has alot of parties there very good food & service, price is awesome as well.

Riviera - is very pretty but also very pricey. They want things to run there way & will not really change to your preferences. My Aunt was thinking about this place.

Bay Ridge manor - food not good- I live in Bay ridge

El Caribe - haven't been there but heard its nice.

Gorguillio's - also very good food & service they may be willing to do family style. Place is beautiful. My friend had her wedding there could not complain about anything.

Do not go to Rex manor - as pretty as it is the food has gone down the tubs. it has got worse each time I have been there for an occasion

- When I was looking into RH I looked at the Nacotras Ball room on SI - it is in the Hilton Garden Inn. Very nice & the hotel gives you a good rate if you block out rooms for guests, you also get the presidential suit free that night for you & FH. I heard food is great.
I would have booked there but for as long as I could remember I always wanted Russo's on the Bay.

I know you said no Queens, but I have family coming from NJ, SI, BK, & LI. my church is in BK & the ride with no traffic is only 15mins to Russo's it is on the border of Bk & Queens. I have been to three weddings there & each one was better then the next. Just a suggestion to look into.
