Need Ribbon Wand Help

Hi,

I am not so crafty, but would like to try to do some DIY projects, one being the ribbon wands. I want to have the ribbons on them, but also incorporate a bell some how. I have seen a lot of girls using a 'cap' at the top of the wand to hold the ribbons on, but I am not sure how to use a bell with this method.
I was thinking of knotting the ribbon somehow to get it stay on, but I can not visualize how to do it.

Help please!!
