Ok here goes. I have bad knees and ankles. My ballroom dance instructor suggested getting ballroom dance shoes but I have huge feet (size 11.5-12) and can't find any big enough. So my question is do you think I need the dance shoes or will I be ok in regular shoes. I am only a beginer dancer so i dont know how much foot support is needed for ballroom dancing. Thanks for reading and any help you can give.
oh and just in case you are having a bad day and need a good laugh I even tried searching for drag queen shoes

Re: need shoe help
Try zappos.com, they carry a lot of different sizes. I believe they have dance shoes too. You can always get regular shoes for ceremony and pics and switch to more comfortable shoes for the reception...

I pass Capezio every day going to work on the North service road on of the LIE. It is in the Hauppauge area. There is a big sign out front that says we have ballroom shoes. You may want to go look there. They are basically dance shoes, leotards etc. company. I bet if they don't have them, you can at least order from them. Good luck!

Zappos is amazing. They have everything and shipping on returns is free.
Also, dacing shoes give you better support than regular shoes so you can wear them longer and be more comfortable.
