My wedding is coming up & I still don't have a place to take pictures before the wedding. I'm getting married at the Thatched Cottage and The Vanderbilt is having a wedding and I can't take pics there. I'm getting ready in Hauppauge @ my mom's house so anywhere in the north would be good - rather not go on the south end. Please help!!!

Northport village, there is also a beach right in Centerport, Crabmeadow beach because there are gazebos in case it rains. Another suggestion, look at some retirement homes. A lot of them, like Briarwood, have beautiful grounds and really make for nice picture.

What about Heckshire Park in Huntington village? They have a little lake and it is nearby. You could also try the town park in Cold Spring Harbor - it's on the water.

I don't know LI very well but I've read about Westbury Gardens. Many couples go there to take pictures. I heard it's very nice!

How about Suny Farmingdale botanical gardens-it's 4 acres of gardens and absolutely beautiful.
