I have an e-party in 2 weeks. I looked online at unique-vintage.com, nordstroms, bloomies, lord and taylor, macy's, bebe, arden b. Im not seeing anything really, of course when i dont need a dress is when i see a bunch of stuff lol.
looking for a cocktail type dress, preferably with some color not looking for black.
Going to check out austin street, so maybe ill find something there but i need sites or stores to check out.

Express Fashion and Macys in NYC always have dresses that they don't have online.
You could try this site as well. They have cute stuff on here. A little pricey but a lot to choose from.

I really love anthropolgie they have adorable dresses and sometimes vintage looking ones as well.

www.edressme.com anthropologie has some great dresses right now scoop intermix I saw a bunch of cute dresses at Lord and Taylor

There is a store on 3rd Avenue between 50th & 51st that I've been meaning to stop in. It's all cute dresses in so many colors and different lengths. I think it's called Mango.

'09er crashing............I found a cute dress at Express that I'm going to wear for a wedding. I was afraid it wasnt fancy enough but I have some really cute shoes that make it look fancier....
not sure if thats kinda what youre looking for but they have a few different colors and prints.

its cute but i cant do strapless, i was able to do it for the wedding bc they fit it on your perfectly and tight. but thanks ill check their site

Def. check out newport news.com. they have a whole online dress boutique!! I just bought a sexy dark plum, satin cocktail dress to go to a wedding from them and loved it!!!

yeah thats true, i hate malls but might have to make a trip out to roosevelt field, although i never have luck at malls lol but have to try.
